Bank Adventure Part 2

This would be a continuation of the previous post.

When i opened the bank account, I have a key account and a savings account. So i am suppose to get 2 atm card.
Until now i only have one card.
Last week, mum called me and told me that the bank was sending the atm card as well as the password back home to Malaysia.
I went to the bank to check and they said my correspondent address in the system is wrong.
But i told them i receive the other card of mine. They were surprised as well.
So they got me a new card and ask me to collect it from their branch this week.
Hmmm....

I hope that will be the end of my bank adventure.

Second Week. - Bank

Well, already settling in with the weather. It's getting colder day by day but its great.
Now i know why the people from this part of the world love the sun so much and do sun-bathing so often.

Gone to the city a few times but things are really expensive. So might go to Glasgow this week since people say shopping there is much cheaper than in Edinburgh. Well, need to get some clothing and thermal.

Oh, but there is one annoying thing here. THE BANK.
Opening the bank account here is HELL......
I went to the bank on 5th Sept.
Got my account opened on 9th Sept (great - i heard it take longer)
SO like an idiot, i went to the bank and ask them for my atm/debit card. They told me i have to wait for them in my post and it take probably another 5 days.
So nevermind. I waited for the post and checked it everyday (as if I'm waiting for a love letter :p)
Oh, i got 2 letters in the mailbox on 14 Sept. I was so excited thinking i finally got my card. But big huge disappointment. All i got was a letter saying my special number for my online banking. And another separate letter with my atm pin. - In the letter they told me to wait for 2 more letters which is my card and another 10 digit special activation number.
On 17 Sept, i finally got my card. BUT i still can't use it. I need my 10 digit activation number to activate my card. -.-
So i don't know when I'll get that.
It's holiday tomorrow.

See, how hard it is to open an account here?
In Malaysia, u can get everything in just one day. So that something to be happy if you live in Malaysia.

One thing not good about the weather is this.

I got a scrap on my hand the first day i got here. I don't know how i got it but probably was when i was unpacking. It's just a scrap and not a cut.

It's been 2 weeks since and the scrap has not fully recover.

In Malaysia, new skin would grow within 2 days?

Hmmm.....

So try not to get hurt here or you will suffer.

It is really a beautiful place.
Joined the Edinburgh tour organized by the Chaplaincy. It a tour where you sit in the bus and they bring you to places around Edinburgh and tell you what is there.

So got a few pictures. The trip was great. So now I know where to go and explore during the weekend. :)

Also took the bus to Ocean Terminal on Thursday. Its and indoor shopping malls like the one you find in Malaysia with Debenhams and Bhs. Oh, and the Britannia Yacht is there to.

Double Decker bus. Most buses there are like that.

:) - Their bus service is super efficient. I don't mind not having a car there.

Along the way, saw a crystal clear stream by the main road.

And Fountain bridge - the location where our degree assignment was based at.

There is Ocean terminal. - Indoor shopping mall.
(Indoor shopping malls are rare there cos most shop there are just by the main road and in rows of shops on princess street. )

Myths & Facts of Scotland

Myth 1:
Shops and Places closes at 5pm.
I am surprise that supermarkets here like Asda and Tesco opens 24 hours and 7days a week.
And they are big supermarket. Bigger than the Carefour and Tesco we get in Malaysia.
Other shops closes around 7-9pm. So it's kinda enjoyable as bus services is all the way til midnight.

Myth 2:
People in Scotland are friendly. Some are but most aren't like the bus driver and some random people who work there. But there is a security guard who now works part time picking students from the airport to Uni is great.

Fact 1:
Its' a wet wet place.
It drizzles then stop and drizzles again and stop for a whole day. So far only experience it once. And it's the wind that makes it really cold.

Fact 2:
Will add on when i think of them. Will get busy soon next week with classes on monday till friday except on Tuesdays.
So will update a little as i have gone into town and to the ocean terminal. :)

I am satisfied with how it looks considering that its a damn old building. Smells of new paint. Shades look new. BIG kitchen and common area to share among 5 people?

Update it first when i get here.
The Journey was LONG. First time traveling solo to a place so far that i have been before.

Before that, Luggage OVERWEIGHT :p
But good British Airways only charge a flat rate of overweight.

13 hours flight from Singapore to London with 2 and 1/2 hour transit and another 2 hour flight from london to edinburgh.
Got to Singapore Changi, passed security and was happily waiting to board the plane at 10.55pm.
Waited and waited and waited till they announce.
"There will be a slight delay due to security reasons. We have received instruction from London to re-screen all passengers boarding the plane."
It's a boeing 747 and a full flight. So imagine the delay.
Not only that, people all have connecting flights to catch.

Well, its kinda scary experience. But LOndon security came to me as a surprise.
I heard it has been so strict and all.
But i the custom people were all so nice and friendly. All he asked for was my offer letter. Didn't even ask for x-ray or other document.
Also when i went to collect my baggage, i though u would need to go through some custom to declare stuff. But surprise surprise. No need.
Just collect y0ur luggage and leave. They didn't bother how much pounds u had or what u had in your luggage.

Then went looking for the University counter for the free bus to the campus from the airport.
Saw this guy in charge at the booth. When i spoke to him he just said " You from Malaysia, right?"
I was like "Wow, how do you know?"
"Because of the slang we have..." So he's a Malaysian as well.
But good he was friendly, not like the other people there at the booth who don't even bother to answer your questions. Disappointed.

And back to my luggage, all the way i was worrying how and i going to carry my 33.3kg luggage from the belt to the bus to the hostel on the 2nd floor.

1. Guess what, at the belt while everyone was impatiently waiting for their luggage and all crowded in front, I just stood behind them and go " Excuse me, could u help me get that bag. Thank you!" - DONE (from belt to trolley)

2. From the trolley to the Bus, a girl from France was also going to Heriot Watt. She was with her mum. So together we got that luggage up and down the bus. - DONE

3. From the reception to the 2nd floor of my hostel. Well, it's fresher's week. So there are many people helping out. So just go to one and ask " Can you direct me to my hostel, I have no idea where it is" He just took out a map and pointed. "I still don't get it. Could you bring me there?" :p
So there is how i got that guy to help me with the luggage to the hostel.
"So could you also help me get it up to the second floor?"
"Sure no problem" - DONE

"High Class Hotel"

My mummy dear got admitted into the "High Class Hotel" yesterday and is still there.

Thank God everything is ok. Went to this new "Hotel" called the Regency Specialist Hospital on Monday Morning, did x-ray, Ultrasound, ct scan colonoscopy....

Then Doctor said (the usual thing they will say):
"You want to hear the truth? I'll be frank. There are 3 possibilities. 1. Appendicitis 2. Some growth in the colon 3. Tmour."
They really know how to physco you. From nothing they will make it into a big thing.

So after all the TESTs....
Good news, Luckily it's just appendix.
Well, bad news is Appendic already rupture and rotten in the body. So little complicated.

This is my first time in the hospital. First time waiting outside the operating theater. (Oh, and sis was going crazy acting like what they do in those dramas - Walking so anxiously outside the operating theater and rushing to the doc when the surgery is completed. )

Thank God all is good now and she is recovering.

Oh, and why is it call the "High Class Hotel"?
Lovely sis created that name.
Cos in the whole ward. there are only 7 patients. 10-15 nurse in one shift and the doc comes to see u so often asking how are u.
You get pampered. Just press a button and so many ppl will come to you.
Oh ya, the hospital food is good too.. :p

Yup, blogging this after i quit my job.
If you wonder why I'm up this late? Little sis going on a trip to my ex-uni. needs to be in college at 3am -.-
No wonder all her friends are here, their mummy and daddy too lazy to wake up that early and send them to college :p (my guess)

Bout my job. I QUIT.
But nvm, here it goes.
In the beginning, I was planning to continue my studies September this year.
After a few months, everyone told me to stay as i was getting a well paid job.
Just last month, everyone told me to go.

See, how things change?

I just looked back on my previous post that i was saying i would loose touch with building works. Now i have quit my job and will be flying off on 3 September.

Well, wasn't too happy with colleagues there, not all but some. I'm new and they are all there for a long long time so they sort of boycott you. So no pictures. Working there wasn't fun at all. So i guess it's right that i leave now.

I wonder what will happen after i graduate next year. Wonder what is planned for me?
All I can do is to trust in Him.

Oh ya, have been shopping and packing. I'm really afraid of "LUGGAGE OVERWEIGHT" hmm....

Yup it has been ages. Well, half of 2010 has also passed.
Unbelievable, time don't fly but travels at the speed of light or maybe electron.

This few months have gone by so quickly, and i have also made another decision in my life.
Wasn't planning to go until i receive the offer letter and everyone just told me go.

Ans yes, i'll be going off to Scotland and hope everything goes well now as i have yet to process my visa and all.

Going off in September and leaving Malaysia for the first time alone.
Wonder how it would be like there. Everyone says its beautiful there.

I guess, my next post would be when i'm there.

Work

Work has been taking up a lot of my time..hehe..
8.30am all the way till 5.30 pm. It's so routine but doesn't seem to bad.
Maybe because I'm getting a good pay and the office environment ain't that bad either.
Workload is still ok.

The only thing is, it's a piling sub-contractor. All i will know in the end is just piling and i guess i'll loose touch with the other buildings works. So how?

Well, i guess just go as how God has planned. Plans that i have made can just change so suddenly.

Aside from that, i think i have gotten a little lucky with money. From the company lucky draw, to shopping and to finding money in a paper bag that has been left there to no use? Hmm....

Also, has been missing student life where i don have to get up so early, don't have a fixed routine and lots of time for movie, outing and friends. A few of my close friends are not where I am now. 2 in KL, 1 in UAE and 1 in Nigeria. Hmmm...how i miss those times.

I though i had my mind made up all the way till next year.
I though i didn't had to make anymore decision until i graduate with a Masters next September.

How things can change just withing a few months. Two months to be exact.
Now i have to make another MAJOR decision.
Things always change and why don't they go as planed?
If I decided to go ahead with my plan, what i am getting now i will never be able to get it again.
But maybe i will. I don't know.

But if i just stay here, ofc i loose out on a lot of things as well.
Cos as it seems now, someone else is getting whatever she wants and if i let go of this chance, i know she will get it cos she has gotten a lot.
But the other soft side of me is telling me not to.

Time for a little update.
First first...

I got my first salary but was only for half a month...
Then i got my angpau from work.
Was treated to great lunch by the Boss..
CNY is here and well, i got a week off from work BUT sad thing it's compulsary Leave..
I just started working. So mana ada leave? UNPAID lo... :(
Well, just looked into the calender and i won't have anymore public holidays anytime soon. So got to start working again. Well, that company ain't too bad, Boss is nice, colleagues there are nice.

Enough with work. Now CNY was ok... ain't that great cos of some people.
Well, Had goooooood food but tooo much cookie that i ain't feeling toooo good now.. haha..

got 1 and half more days to enjoy. Happy Chinese New Year to ALL!!!

Yeah, it's another year..
A few interview to start of the new year. Been to three and have been getting better offers.
But i'm currently sick of interviews. Don't want to go for anymore. They all ask the same questions and even some has exams.

So wish me luck. I have got 2 offers and awaiting another one. This is the best one.
Waiting really anxiously for their reply. And then i'll start work next monday or Tuesday. There goes another chapter in my life.

Now, i have graduated from my degree in Imperia. Waiting for results next year. So for now, got to step into the working world. Well, lucky it's just for 9 months as seriously, i'm not into working. So will continue my studies in Spetember 2010.

Didn't plan to go back to JB for Raya as I don't want to get caught up in the Raya Balik Kampung Rush.
But then dad decided to come pick me and bro back to JB. And that was on Sunday, the first day of Raya.

Oh yea, this blog is dying soon....

Btw, back in KL now and starting the last semester of degree.

This blog about shopping is a very eventful one. You will know why. Nearly 22 years of shopping. This is my first time encountering such incident.

Mum, Sis and Me were at Sutera Mall shopping. We got into a shop where there were reasonable price clothings for my mum. So we walked in the shop and picked up clothes to be tried. A salesgirl who was attending to us held the clothes for us.

While still looking at clothes, another salesgirl came to ask us "Do you want to try on this clothes (pointing to one of the clothes my mum picked up and was with the sales lady). If you don't want then, that lady wants to try it". She stupid or what? We took the clothes of course want to try la.
So we found out that shop only has one clothes of each design. So the other lady also wanted that clothes.

But this all don't make sense do they? She wants a clothes that my mum has taken?

So nevermind, mum went to try on the clothes and guess what???? The DESPERATE lady asked my mum if she stil wants the clothes? We said of course we wanted it and is going to buy it. She still didn't gave up and ask the salegirl to ask us again if we wanted that shirt. And she was standing there looking at us like we stole her stuff. It's damn annoying.

Mum was trying on other clothes and i got really pissed and said to the salesgirl "No i don't want the clothes. Take it if you want!" Guess what? That desperate lady left.

So in the end mum bought that shirt.

SOOOO weird....
If u liked a clothes and there is only one piece and another person is taking it for a try then u would just give up and walk away, No?

New Handphone

Gotten my new handphone and is very happy...

Will be back in KL on the 3 September.. Last semester in degree is starting and a year is gone.

Also got my results and was a little surprised. Well, won't say it here.

Back home and doing the usual stuff. How fast one month has just passed like that.

That is gone so now is a month of semester break...Weeeeeee....

First time in my life of 21 years....
i lost my handphone.... :(

So now, got a temporary number for 2 weeks before i go back to JB and get back my number.
So those who need to call me just leave me a message and i'll give you my number.

So here the story goes....
I left my handphone and RM 15 and my ic, atm card in the female changing room locker. Left it in a bag and locked the locker before i left.
When i came back, "Eh, why is my bag outside..and the locker is still lock?" First thing that came to my mind. "Shit, check handphone..."
"NOOOO...gone...check money, gone...check IC and ATM card, *relieved* still there.

Damn, the theif needs to die!!!!!!!!!

So went to the management, they called the boss. Was asked to make a police report.
Well, hopefully the owner will compensate me as he promised..

Sigh, my hp....but it was lucky that my IC, driving licence, bank card and touch and go was stil with me...

This is the 2nd uneventful event that happened after i turned 21....

Assignments and KLCC

Finally a reasonable post as an update.

This semester is worth 300 marks and 30 credit hours, 100% assignment.
Therefore, very busy.
Assingment tasks are not easy.

Well, the KLCC trip was not for fun...Was to get information for the assignment.
Archidex 2009..
I can say it was a fruitful trip. But i'm really puzzled why some companies treat us like @!$#$....Those companies need to go bankrupt and DIE...We are just there to get some information for our project. Is it so difficult to give it to us?
There was one company which was really terrible. Indirectly chasing us away when we say we are student. SIGH!!!
That company really needs to DIE...

Wow, its has been more than a month.
How time flies.

Second semester in degree has gone by a month already.
Assignments, presentations, researching is really not as easy. Plus, it's a group work. Damn how i hate group assignment since Sunway college times.
Never had good experience whenever it comes to group work.
"Conflicts", "sleeping members","Ok, ok..i'll do it...but nothing come out of it"

How i wish everything was an individual assignment.

Well, away from that now..
I want to go on a holiday!!!!!

Seems like so long til i start my degree.
Finally had my first 2 Exams in Degree..
Damn, it's not easy especially when paper is from UK.

Hoping for the best now...
But at the moment just relax and rest.

Ok, i saw an aunty with 3 trays of eggs. (12 eggs per tray )
I saw her opening all 3 trays and thought she was checking for broken eggs.
I was WRONG..

In the end she only bought 2 trays. Guess what she was doing?

She was choosing big size eggs... and exchanging them around..

No offence to anyone. This post is just an expression of my though and what i encountered today.

Yea, right...Think i'm going to write something good about Malaysia or Malaysian?
Never. Even worst if that Malaysian is a Malay. Well, i have to admit not all Malays are like that.
How can we ever acheived that 1 Malaysia thing if some Malaysian stil act like tat.

This is what happen. Housemate was sick and asked me to follow him to the clinic in Giant. So we got there and went to the ATM to withdraw money. It's Maybank by the way, that always have long queues. So we were in the que and suddenly a MALAY man showed up from no where and que between us.

Hamzeh: Excuse me, we were here first!
Malay: Oh, ok...

When it was our turn that idiot went

Malay: Let me just check balance, very fast only.
Hamzeh: Ok...sounding so dead as he was dead sick.

That idiot went to withdraw money instead of checking his balance. What an idiot.
After he finished,

Hamzeh: Check balance got money come out?
Malay: why talk to me like that?
Me: Hey, he's sick la. He need money for the doctor.
Malay: Oh, sick..then can la...

Haven been there in a long time. Suddenly both Mei San and Hamzeh suggested we go there. Two weeks later, we (Mei San, Cheng Eng, Hamzeh, Yahaya, my bro and I) are there. We departed from 1 Utama, went to the theme park, and stayed there a night.
Well, the trip didn't cost that much thou and I'm happy about it.

Got an SMS from a friend. Asking if i was hiding anything from her. Well, for a moment, i can't think if i was hiding anything from her.

She then called and we chatted a little. Then i knew what was it about. She even told me she dream about it. The reason i did not tell her that was because I didn't want her to worry and it was nothing to be proud about. I'm really glad i have such caring friends even thou we don't always hang out, be 24/7 on the phone or online.

Then i heard something else really disturbing. Friendship ain't something to joke around with. One moment, they can be very good friends....then some misunderstanding, they no longer talk with each other, or feel awkward being with each other. How LOVE can turn into HATE so easily...

These are all the people i know for 2 year, and a year seeing them almost everyday, hanging out and stuff....

How time flies...
Already the middle of my first semester in degree.

3 Assignments done, 1 test done and 1 more assignment to go.
Well, test ain't that easy. Actually question was so much easier than the tutorial but one thing...Time is so not sufficient. 2 hours for 2 full measurements. How to finish in time?

Well, luckily there is not exam for measurement. So that just leaves me with 2 subjects for Finals...

Feeling so sad...
Worst still after reading my sis and bro's blog..

Yea, my baby is now at the pet shop...
Being taken care of because she has some skin disease and her ear is infected and needs 2 operations .
skin disease is inherited from her mother. Vet says there is no cure, only can be controled by bathing 3 times a week, and antibiotic which baby doesn't like to take..
Who likes medicine????

Baby doesn't like people to put medicine in her ear...her ear is itchy so she scratches is...so it bleed...when we put collar, she doesn't like it so she bangs herself on the wall to get the collar off, so she hurts her neck..
:(

So now, my baby is being taken care of at the pet shop for 2 weeks then she will go home..
Baby being taken care of is not cheap...equals to the cost of taking care of a human being...
After that, if condition isn't good again, then she has to be put to sleep.. :( :( similar with Euthanasia to human...

Sigh...
How???
My baby...don't want to suffer so kill her??
My sis say if we have no more choice left, bring baby home and let her eat all her favourite food like cakes, durian, ice-cream, chicken....

Bashril, you know la kan he always lepak with his friends. my mother went to pinang jus now in the morning. Father went for semina in the morning also. Lucky tomorrow my father and brother going to bring us to sunway pyramid to ice skating or bowling.

As usual, every third day of the Chinese New Year, my family and I will head over to City Square to watch lion dance by the Company my father is working for. So just some pictures...
The lion dance ain't that great this year. Last last year's one was so so so much better.

but i was too lazy to update.

Well, plenty of TARC students here and no wonder the class is so quiet. Don't talk to each other, neither do they answer the lecturers.
Weird people eh.

Well, Lecturer also gave some comment about that and this makes them really mad..
haha.. but it's true i guess, and was lucky that i got out of there quick.

New Zealand Trip - Day 8 and 9

Was the trip back to Christchurch... Just enjoyed the scenery and by the time we reached christchurch, We just went to do last minute souvenir shopping...

The day i saw real snow on real mountain...The next time must feel snow..
so so...we went to Mt. Cook, a 4 hour drive from Queenstown to another remote place..haha...we were practically driving into mountains...But it was really worth it...the amount of snow on the mountain...well, it was summer..can't imagine how it will look if it's during the winter...But was satisfy with what i saw..BEAUTIFUL......and not forgetting river water that melted from those ice...cool.....

Milford sound...a place so remote...and 5 hours drive from Queenstown...
Also we went to the Glowworm cave..Amazing...just speechless when i saw them..So sad, no pictures cos we are no suppose to take pictures there...
The journey was so long that we had to stay the night at Te Anau..

The boat we were on throughout the 3hours cruise...Nice experience..
good to be out in the sea..i love it..

A trip to the Walter Peak Farm...

Day 2

We travel all the way from Christchurch to our resort in Queenstown...journey was 7hours..
why is NZ so big? So along the way we stopped by Lake Tekapo and also an orchard to get fruits...We went down to Queenstown for dinner and to check out the town a little...Nice to see so much clear water as resort was facing Lake Wakatipu...

New Zealand Trip - Day 1

The trip was amazing...
I love New Zealand..no high rise building, single storey road (no flyovers), lovely scenery, no pollution, less people...
Just sooooooooooo peaceful and fresh...and COLD....nice nice...summer days are 18degree celcius..

Well, the only thing is that New Zealand is 5 hours ahead of Malaysia so had to get used to the time difference.

Day 1

This time we took Sigapore Airlines from Changi Airport to Christchurch, South Island of New Zealand..
This is the longest flight i have ever taken...10 hours 30 minutess...LONG!!!
After arriving NZ at 10am, check-in the hotel and rested a little and the went down to the city center and visited the cathedral square and then in the evening to the Willowbank Wildlife Research before heading back to the hotel.

Long long time without one...
hmm, actually just a few days but seems like a long time...

Thank God that practical training is just only 13 days till it's ending...
Politics in that stupid company is getting worst...that particular colleague of mine needs to DIE!!!!!
She is toooooooooo much....

Well, she is just too useless in doing her things...
She does it wrong, simply does her work and not even care.
She even once told cheng eng "Actually the BQ i simply do for him because he wanted it."
I was like .......Come on, QS ia a profession and how can u do such shit...
Worst still we have to clear all her "Shit"...
And she is so called the person in charge but why does it seem that it has been me and cheng eng doing all the things a coordinator should do?
She always looks busy but she never produce anything.

Now i know why all my colleagues don't like her, never help her with work and never talk to her. And it seems she doesn't know about that...How "SMART"

Well, when more and more work is being throw at me and cheng eng, there goes my temper...i just told the boss right in his face

"i don't know how to do tat, i din do that element. so u ask the to go n check and do that. You already ask me to do GFA, Beams, and .....and it's taking forever and it's not so easy to finish"

Well, the boss jus say ok ok and then left to ask that lady to do it i think...Well, when i'm too busy and u give me more work, this is what happens and i don care who you are..Even the boss....
Luckily he wasn't angry at me for saying that...

Monday wasn't a so good day...
After we left work for the car, got in the car and started to drive off..suddenly, we heard a sound and got out of the car...
Guess what?

Nuts to the tyre on the drivers side are all OUT...
I guess someone tried to steal them and din'r manage too...Well, lucky to have guy colleagues...SOS them and they helped us to fix them...after about 20 min, all was done...hehe...
Well, not that we parked at some back lane or anything..
It's a paid carpark for RM50 per month...
It's around a badminton court, beside a morning market, beside a mini market, and beside a food court.
That person must have been so unlucky to not get those tires...and thats good for us...

A Few Things

I guess there are a few things that pisses me off really badly.

And i guess a few had happened to me just after my 21st birthday...

Not sure if it's my fault or what? Sigh...

1) People who don't appreciate what i have done. I have helped a person a lot and i do not expect anything in return. All i wanted was the person to appreciate what i have done. In the end, the person just turn his back on me and accuse me. And it seems that i help you and yet i get shouted at? Doesn't make any sense at all to me. Then why must i help you? I have been patient enough not to answer back....people who know me well know that i never keep quiet when this happens. Due to respect, i jus keep that inside... (Damn, this sucks!)

2) People who wanted me to help them do something really important and with a deadline to meet. You want my help, I'm willing to anything and everything to get it done. I'm not complaining even though how troublesome it will be. Once i say i will do it, I will but i expect a little cooperation and a little commitment on your part as I'm doing the favor for you. Excuses is not expected as I have my things to do, I have limited time but still i arrange my time and help you get things done. Why can't you do the same? Just take a little time off and get it done.

3) People who lets me wait and i HATE waiting for people. Even for just 5 minutes. that is why i never let people wait for me.

I guess in this world there is never a person you can trust fully...
You try to believe it won't happen but it still did. Someone tells you it won't happen but it still did.
In the end, all i get is just disappointment.
Why do i have to care?
Because you are my fren? or someone i care for? or someone i treasure?
Should i just be back to the self-centered me that i have always been? Maybe it would be better that way. Don't have to care about how others feel and what others say about you... Don care about what other think also?

Got up late as i was kinda tired from yesterday...hehe...
I followed Cheng Eng to her sis's graduation ceremony in KLCC...It was my first ever convocation i have been to other than my Diploma graduation ceremony in Sunway.
My degree graduation would have to wait another 2 years..

Anyway, back to today....There are 4 lifts in this block of condo i'm living in. 3 broke down and only 1 functioning. Imagine, at peak hours, only 1 lift serving 18 floors...i don't know how long i waited for the lift.
Lucky, we were not late for work..

At work, i tried to photo copy some documents. You know those photocopy machines that you jus put the whole set in and it photocopies for you? I put a set of documents in, and the paper came out from where the glass piece of the photocopy machine is instead of the tray.

In the later afternoon, i tried to call a friend back as i got a miss call from not annswering the call. When i called back, he did not answer. Instead, when he called back, he said when i called in, his hp hanged and it's the first time his hp is doing so..haha...

I guess i didn't have luck with technology today..haha..

Well, luckily everything else is ok..

This weekend will be a grest one for me...So looking foward to it..hehe...

One morning, maybe a few days ago..i woke up to this...

It has been raining cats and dog here for the pass few days. Condo's carpark was even flooded...Also the lift was leaking so it wasn't working.....

This trip is so not planned. We just decided at the last hour of the night to go. And the next morning, off we go. Thanks to Hui Min (my ex-housemate) who brought us around to so many places and was glad she was free to do so. I guess i had been 1 and 1/2 years since i last saw her.
We left in the morning and got back in the evening. Weather was super nice the whole day. No sun and no rain.

First we went to Seremban to pick my friend up and then to Lukut for some noodle that was really famous and had to wait long to get our food.

Then to Port Dickson - the cleanest beach there which is still ok...No blue water, no white sand... :( We din get into the water, but just went for a walk and listening to the waves hitting the shore. Watching some other people having fun. AND getting away from the city! Oh, and pictures.

This so called lover's bridge...was closed for maintenance.

About 2 pm, we went to a Tanjung Tuan which was at the border of melaka and Negeri Sembilan to see he light house there and view Selat Melaka from above. It's beautiful there too. See some blue sea...haha..and took some picture.

**This trip really made me miss Australia's nice beach and the light house there. It was so similar but not the same. Australia's one was really nice...nice blue sea and white sandy beach. Malaysian will never know how to preserve nature and not spoil them. People smoking at the beach, throwing their cigarate into the water and some leaving their rubbish behind really pissed me off.

It has been a week since my parents and sis was here.
Can't imagine that a week had passed.

And even unbelievable that a month of practical training had just gone by. 1 month since i have been in that company. That 1 month i had really learnt a lot of things.
Also on thursday was the first time we had overtime. Actually me and Cheng Eng didn't have to but just for the fun and experience of it. We just help up the others to finish their measurement.

Well, everything seems ok..Looking forward to the first pay..haha..Should be next week.

Also next week Wed, Thurs is hari raya....so more holiday and Fri is compulsary leave so holiday again. the whole stretch all the way to the weekends. And also no tuition....YEAH!!!!

My family was in KL over the weekend...yeah!!!

It's for my sis's make up competition but still i get to see them and spend some time with them.
So right after work on Friday, Cheng Eng and me went to Sunway to look for my parents and sister. A mere 10 minutes journey took us an hour. Damn the jam in KL...it's bad and i hate it.

Result for final semester for diploma is out...

I was notified by the college that it will be release on the 18 September.Suddenly Stephanie called and told me the result is released today. So we took little time off from the office. The boss wasn't around so we didn't get to ask him permission.

Anyway..results is good.
Got an A+ for BCC and A for CP...
A+ for cost management and
A for economic which was quite surprising...

Ahhh...there goes the result for exams...
No more exams till next year....but that degree...

This might sound scary..

I'm currently doing my practical training in Taman Megah. The shop houses there. Last Friday, i just heard this news from my colleague. I don't know if it's true but sound so.

My office is on the 3rd floor.

According to my colleague, previously on the 2nd floor, was an architect firm. And, the architect died there of heart attack. And now the 2nd floor is left vacant. The restaurant below uses it as extra sittings. But most of the time it's closed.

On the 3rd floor, which is my office now, was previously a contractor's office. And, the contractor committed suicide in one of the back rooms of the office. And now the room is locked and not used.

Scary?

anyway, work has pass 2 weeks. Super fast and 2 months and 2 weeks to go.

Outing - KLCC skybridge

Yup...an outing to the KLCC skybridge on 29 August 2008.

Partly to celebrate our last last exams for diploma. Too bad some others still have exams on Friday.
Also I'm not sure when I'll see Stephenie again or Hamzeh as he'll be leaving next week...
So....

We left Shang Villa at about 7.00 a.m. Then headed for KLCC to queue for the tickets. We arrived at 8.15 a.m. The ticketing counter only opens at 9 a.m. So we started queuing. There were so many people ahead of us.
For your information, if you don't know, they limit the number of tickets given out everyday. So that explains the queue.

because of the number of foreigners there.

It's not easy as u think.

I though tuition was easy. It is but not when it comes to their exam season and mine.
Now it's school holidays and next week, FINALS of my final semester.
At the same time next week, the younger rascal is having her monthly test.

So now, i need time
- to study all my subject (fyi, economic topic is not finish yet and there is stil classes on Sat and Sun, and 2 papers on Monday)
- to teach that rascal and cover all the subjects.
- to meet up with a friends who will be leaving the country
- to settle the house issue

It's really not easy leaving out of the house, working and studying at the same time. Life is getting really harder. More stressful and all. Never easy and will not be easy anymore.

Me: RM500 (aih, should have said more- anyway doesn't make a difference)

Me: Er, let me think about it (Last time only give me rm300 and say that "what? training only ask for so much?")

Xx: And i saw your resume and you live nearby. So i hope you will consider and let me know this few days.

Me: Er, ok.. i'll let u know this few days! (NO WAY la. )

Stupid boss, he thinks he can push people around. No way i'm going back there. Now u come pleading that u want to employ me? I though u say u have LOTS more peple applying for job at your company?
Pay me RM1000 also i won't work there.

This will be my final exams for my diploma.
So, got to keep up with my grads till i finish diploma.

Monday - BCC, economics
Tuesday - Cost management
Thursday - Contratual Procedures.

4 papers but not as easy as u think. i know i have dealt with 6 before but.
2 papers with Daniel...
n economics...Aihhh...

After that, will be working time...work work work for 3 months and then holiday for less than a month, then start degree again.
i'm starting degree, most of my friends will be finishing with honours.
Aiks...

Anyway, that life for now.

Update.
Celebrated ~~Aunty~~ San's birthday last Thursday. Her actually birthday is in a few minutes time.

OK, a few months ago, i got a message on my frienster from michael, Pui San's friend stating that he wants to give her a surprise by me joining them to celebrate her birthday.
So it worked. hehe...

Anyway, all we did was eat eat eat. Firstly sake sushi and then movie. After that some then some chocolate place for fondue and then last last, ochacha for cake and green tea.

Was a good day today.

Had lunch in NXZ.
Tried a new restaurant cum boutique there. Fullhouse.
Nice concept, nice deco, nice environment, nice food and most most importantly, very reasonable price..hehe..
So here, some picture, I'm sure Mei San and Cheng Eng will love the place. So I shall go there again.

At night for dinner, finally tried Arabic food. Suppose to go there a long long time ago but.....hehe..
Anyway, tried it and it was good. I can't remember the restaurant's name but it's near the Damai LRT station. The place is really crowded and full of people..

Lady fingers are really small. the ones we get here are long...and the lamb meat is really soft and nice. No need to even chew on it.. :P

Just to put this date in my blog so here...

- The olympics is going on in China.

For me, had class as usual in the morning then home, online, finish assignment...
While doing so, got a sms and call from Kala that economics class is canceled again. Aih, this lecturer, so many excuses - sometimes she teaching elsewhere, if not then she not feeling well cause she's pregnant.

Also another shocking thing while i was on MSN. For your information, my laptop was having a little problem, got it 100% fixed yesterday and everything is back to normal. When i was on MSN, Kheli msn me. She goes

Kheli : Hi.. u there? when u free to meet up. I need to discuss something with you. Someone is trying to break our relationship.
Me: Ha? Wat?

I will and shall and must get to the bottom of this. If i found out who the IDIOT person is. He/ She will be dead. What is you problem, me and Kheli are friends. Our friendship is none of your business. Why want to break it?
This kind of people are not call friends anymore.

At night, my tution as usual. Kids downstairs are rascals, especially the younger one. Here, will post you their pictures.

Brother is having his finals and going back to JB next week. Me, finals is in 2 weeks, but no going back to JB for me. Got my practical training...Work work!!!!!

Also booked and bought tickets back to JB. 4 December 2008. Trying firefly this time. Fare is cheap. Only RM8, with airport tax is RM65. Plus, the airport is just behind my condo. How nice, no need to go all the way to KLIA even if i have dear cheng eng to fetch me there. hehe..

Hope it's not to bad an experiece.

Also..my sister and her make up competition. Lucky she found herself a model so i dont have to be her model.
All the best little sister, u need inspiration then just think of me la...muahahahaha...

Probably most of you know who she is.
Sunway editorial board editor, those days where we stayed up late, out together to finish and rush the yearbook.

She's back from UK and was in KL for 4 hours only. She arrived at 12pm and got lost for a while in pudu and then meet up at 1.30pm and left at 3.30 pm to catch the 4pm bus.
She one brave/daring/ strong will person (erm, is that the word to use) to do so.

So, time was definitely not enough but is the intention that counts.

Here goes one of those updates i wanted to post...

Construction and building terminologies are taking a toll on me. Two incidence in a day.

Yesterday i went to the PC fair in KLCC. I bought a pen drive for my little sister. And here is the conversation with the salesperson.

Me: So how does the competition work? How to register? (there is a competition when you buy any pendrive product and register it)
Salesperson: After this u can go the the site and register.
Me: Ha? Site? where?
Salesman: Website la.
Me: .....

After that, we also went for The MUMMY 3.

Then there was some scene, i can't really remember, it was about bring up the children and the wife told the husband about the duty of bring up the son is implied. Then, I recalled Implied terms in the contract...

TOOOO much construction related terms in my mind.
